The wedding of Yvonne and David was a beautiful celebration of love and locale taking place in the amazing Mayan Riviera outside of Cancun, Mexico. It was an honour to be part of their day and to help capture the memories that they will enjoy for a lifetime to come. Many of their guests came from the Toronto area, where the couple lives. Yvonne looked so beautiful, the dress was gorgeous, and her friend did an incredible job with Yvonne’s makeup. The ceremony site was a wonderful stretch of sandy beach, Yvonne had decorated everything perfectly, and all the details were superb from the basket of brushes to get the sand off guests’ shoes, to the champagne toast and cocktail hour along the ocean front. The wedding took place at Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in the Mexican Mayan Riviera. Moon Palace resort near Cancun is definitely a great location for destination weddings in Mexico. Although it rained most of the trip, for the wedding day itself fortunately, it stopped raining and the sky was slightly overcast. It was perfect for the lighting and no one had to squint in the blazing sun or get burned.
Before the ceremony, the couple met around a corner from each other for a gift exchange. We took a photo of them holding hands around the corner but not seeing each other. It was a great moment! The groom went to the ceremony site, David anxiously waited as Yvonne arrived to the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage. Afterwards, the couple shared their first dance together on the beach. The entire wedding was fantastic, and we had a lovely time working with Yvonne and David. We wish them the very best of all that is to come.
