We had a wonderful time photographing Vanessa & Jamie’s day-after session and Trash the Dress shoot in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic in November. The beaches there are spectacular, the ocean is beautiful, and the people are so nice. As always, we look forward to our next opportunity to visit the Dominican!
The day after Tiffani & Merlin’s wedding at Paradisus in Punta Cana we photographed their trash-the-dress session at Bavaro Beach. Bavaro is one of the beautiful beaches of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.
We were so happy to photograph another wedding on our trip to the Dominican Republic in November! Jamie and Vanessa had their beautiful ceremony on the beach of Dreams Palm Beach Resort in Punta Cana, DR. The couple and their family came over from Toronto and across the world to celebrate the marriage and experience the amazing hospitality of the Dominican Republic and its people!

It was raining for part of the day and luckily there were a few moments of clear skies right before the ceremony.
The rain held off perfectly until just as the couple was pronounced husband and wife, then the guests came huddling around with umbrellas to shelter the couple for their first kiss.
It was time for the kiss, and joyful emotions overcame everyone!

Jamie & Vanessa had a second legal ceremony where they signed the papers inside the Dreams Resort Punta Cana.
These “Message in a Bottles” guided guests to their table numbers.

We just got back from the Dominican Republic where we photographed the beautiful wedding of Tiffani & Merlin at Paradisus Palma Real Resort in Punta Cana. This resort is located near Playa de Bavaro in the Dominican Republic. The DR is a amazing location to get married and we definitely enjoyed going back there again!

Many of our destination wedding clients like to include a day-after shoot as part of their wedding package. These photo sessions are always so much fun and produce spectacular images. Here are some images from one of the sessions in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We know of a few secluded beaches that are not part of one of the resorts and this is always a great location that we take our wedding couples who are getting married in Punta Cana.
Although they call this a “Trash the Dress” session, don’t worry! She had her dress dry cleaned and then wore it again back home for another reception.
Later this year we will be photographing a couple weddings in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. As you can imagine, we are excited to photograph in such a beautiful and amazing location. The Dominican is legendary for its fabulous beaches and we certainly found them that way when we were there last time! But it is also renown for its greatest value throughout the Caribbean for all inclusive destination wedding beach resorts. More importantly, the Dominican is known for its fabulous people. We found everyone to be so nice that we couldn’t wait to return. It is a friendly culture to say the least. These are some photos from our last wedding in the Dominican that we didn’t have time to post until now.
We’d love to go to Puerto Plata next, I know that area of the Dominican Republic is great too. But the all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana are incredible for instance Paradisus Palma Real, Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana, Grand Palladium, Iberostar Bavaro, and the last resort we photographed a wedding at the Gran Bahia Principe in Punta Cana. It is a spectacular location, and we are excited to go back to Punta Cana this fall. We wanted to post a few photographs from our last wedding at the Gran Bahia.
